About the Classic
It started with a handful of friends and a promise they kept.
For more than thirty years, the Maria Donadio Golf Classic has brought Shelby Township together for one unmistakable day: carts lined up at dawn, jokes traded on the tee box, and a dinner hall that fills with people who came for something bigger than golf.
What began as a small outing in Maria's memory has grown into one of the area's most enduring fundraising traditions — powered entirely by local families, businesses and volunteers who return year after year.
Our mission is simple: bring our community together for one unforgettable day each year and turn that goodwill into real support for families living with Muscular Dystrophy.
